Liturgical Style

Trinity is blessed with a diversity of worship styles and expressions.

Sunday 10:30 AM Service: Rooted in the ancient practices of the church, the community gathers to partake in Holy Communion (also known as the service of the Mass or the Lord’s Supper) and retell the story of our faith in scripture, song, and prayer. Some describe this service as “High-Church,” which means incense, chant, and other flourishes are used that enhance the beauty and majesty of the community’s praise. No matter who you are or where you’ve been, you’re invited to come as you are (jeans and t-shirts welcome) and worship the God of the universe in grand style.

Sunday 8:00 AM Service: The 8:00 AM service is a quiet and contemplative worship experience without music. The Lord’s Supper is celebrated in the traditional language of the Anglican tradition, and scripture is read and the Gospel proclaimed in a sermon.

Family Service: On the second Sunday of the month, a service designed especially for families with children is offered in the Parish Hall on the north side of the building. Contemporary music is used accompanied by guitar, and children and teens lead most of the service. Children are welcome in all services at Trinity, but this service is particularly well-suited for little ones.

Weekday Services: Trinity holds prayer services six days a week. Weekday services (see schedule) are generally small with an informal atmosphere and last 15 – 30 minutes. They are ideal for folks hungry for a daily rhythm of prayer, contemplation, and spiritual exercise.

Virtual Daily Prayer at Trinity

Don’t have time to swing by Trinity at 7:30 AM for Morning Prayer? Want to do the Daily Offices at home, but need help navigating the prayer book? Want to maintain a prayer discipline but don’t know where to start?

Good news, virtual daily prayer is available online, and you can access it anytime that it’s convenient for you. Click HERE and listen to/pray along with members of Trinity praying the Daily Offices of morning prayer, evening prayer, and compline. Prayers for the day will be posted before 5 AM, and you can access them online anywhere an internet connection is available. You can listen to the prayers on your commute, during your morning coffee, or at the gym. You can pray along with a prayer book, or just listen and let the words soak in.

Accessibility

The church is wheelchair-accessible through both the North and South Parish Halls.

We have two parking lots. The lot on the north side of the church is accessible via Euclid Ave. The lot behind the church is accessible via Washington Avenue and from the alley just north of the church.
